| Spring / Summer Advisory [Last Updated: July 27, 2008]: Unstable cornices remain on the crater rim of Mount St. Helens (for details see climbing page and scroll down to cornice photo diagram). Forest Road 81-830 has been reopened to Climber's Bivouac. Forest Road 99 (access to Windy Ridge) is closed at Bear Meadows viewpoint. Forest Road 83 (access to Lava Canyon) is closed at Marble Mountain Sno-Park.. |
