| Getting an answer to a specific question

Help in finding information or locating a staff member of the Office of Surface Mining can be obtained as follows:
- If you have a specific question let us know what you need using the Ask a Question Form or in an E-mail message to getinfo@osmre.gov and an Office of Communications staff member will answer your question.
- If you are trying to locate an Office of Surface Mining staff member (anywhere in the country) use the "Electronic Phone Book." When you are looking for the person who performs a specific function, you need to ask for this information in an E-mail message.
