The Seventh Annual MCH EPI conference will be held at the Sheraton Sand Key Hotel, Clearwater Beach, Florida on December 12-13, 2001. The program will include scientific presentations, plenary sessions, and networking opportunities. The conference theme is Enhanced Competencies for Informed Decision-Making in Maternal and Child Health Outcomes. This world congress for OB/GYN practitioners in the Indian Health Service is attended by trophoblastic disease experts from around the world. The conference focuses on changing demographics and epidemiology (as with Native Americans), new therapies, the cytogenetics and staging of moles, PSTT and choricarcinoma, use of the hCG assay and flaws with assay monitoring, and when chemotherapy and other treatment is best justified. |

Special arrangements have been made for I.H.S. attendees: a special registration fee, and a keynote lectureship (registration and hotel paid) for any I.H.S. member willing to present a lecture on community experience in treatment or management of trophoblastic diseases. |
