International Sister Park Agreement between Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks and Cambodia’s Samlaut Protected Area:
A flag exchange capped a three-day tour and signing ceremony to seal a five- year agreement between Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks and Samlaut Multiple Use Area.
Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks Superintendent Craig Axtell and Cambodian Director of Conservation and Parks Chay Samith endorsed a five-page document in English and Cambodian. The agreement facilitates the two park area staffs to share management methods and philosophies, experiences, skills, technical knowledge, and professional abilities.

Did You Know?
Crystal Cave, a marble cavern, is a complex maze more than 3 miles long. Parts of it are open via tours. Many varieties of beautiful speleothems decorate the cave, including rarely formed "shields" and "raft cones." A number of unique species of animals live in the cave and its stream.
