TRAINING: No special training requirements have been identified for any documents issued with this change notice.
REMARKS: MC 1246 Appendix A is revised to reflect changes in titles of some classifications and the addition of two new classifications. Specifically, Section XIV, "High-Level Waste Repository Inspector," and Section XV, "High-Level Waste Repository License Technical Reviewer," have been added.
MC 1246 App. A Section I is revised to add a course in Core and Specialized Training and require Licensing Visits to core licensees.
MC 1246 App. A Section II is revised to change the title and change a course title in Specialized Training.
MC 1246 App. A Section III is revised to change required Core and Specialized Training courses. The Health Physics Topical Review course is added to Refresher Training.
MC 1246 App. A Section IV is revised to change required Core Training courses.
MC 1246 App. A Section V is revised to add courses to the required Core Training.
MC 1246 App. A Section VI is revised to change courses in Core Training and add a course in Specialized Training; to move a Core Training course to Supplemental Training; and to delete the course specified in Refresher Training.

MC 1246 Appendix B is revised to reflect changes in titles of some classifications, minor changes in the titles in the basic requirements paragraph, and the addition of Training and Qualification Journals for two new classifications. Specifically, Training and Qualification Journals have been added for Section XIV, "High-Level Waste Repository Inspector," and Section XV, "High-Level Waste Repository License Technical Reviewer."
MC 1246 App. B Section I is revised to reflect formal training and required licensing visits in Appendix A and to update references in the qualification guides.
