Park staff in the the Archives and Reference Collection (ARC) assist graduate student research as part of the Public History Field School.

Whether based on archaeological findings, artifacts in the park collections, or evidence from the historical record, research is a vital, integral, and omnipresent activity at Fort Vancouver NHS.

By clicking on one of the links above, below, and to the right, you can access a number of key programs, research tools and resources, including online documents.

To help facilitate research in the park the Northwest Cultural Resources Institute (NCRI) was founded onsite in 2005. As it grows, it will become one of the Pacific Northwest's premiere research and learning facilities for cultural resources.
