Health and Hospital rebuilding...

Healthcare infrastructure in the Gulf Coast was devastated by the hurricanes of 2005. Hospitals flooded, equipment damaged, and critical supplies lost. Rebuilding hospitals and restoring healthcare services is vital for the community wellbeing.
Primary and acute healthcare facilities in the region are being rebuilt, and rebuilt better. FEMA is committed to ensuring public health and that people have access to necessary healthcare facilities, and that neighborhoods are rebuilt following public health guidelines.
