1998 Vegetation Condition from AVHRR NDVI Data

 Vegetation Condition Images based on NDVI for the 1998 crop season are available for selection in the table below. The data are arranged by two week composite periods; images used for 1998 were collected by the NOAA-14 AVHRR sensor. Images from NOAA-16 or NOAA-17 data (starting in 2001) are not water vapor corrected, while images from NOAA-14 (prior to 2001) were. Caution: the GIF images displayed are very large, ranging from 300-500k bytes.
