The Scholars will gain exposure to health policy issues and firsthand understanding of how the federal government works. Seminars, lectures, and field trips will augment the work experiences of the Scholars. Scholars will receive: A stipend of $1,500 upon completion of the program A daily expense allowance (meals and local transportation) Transportation/airfare to and from Washington, D. C.
