Lee Ann Miller Award - March 2001

Presented by the Children's Justice Interdisciplinary Task Force in Cooperation with Children's Administration. Each year the award goes to a program and an individual making the greatest impact and/or contribution to furthering the mission of the Children's Justice Act.

Jefferson Award - 1995

The Jefferson Award program, which honors service above self, was presented to Donna Belin, Executive Director of Kids' Court by J.D. Alexander, Editor and Publisher of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. The Jefferson Award program is sponsored by the American Institute for Public Service and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer along with newspapers and television stations in most of the nation's major cities. Ms. Belin, and her record of outstanding volunteer accomplishments, were entered in the national contest of the American Institute for Public Service.

Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) Recognizes Kids' Court as Model Program - 1999

As Kids' Court celebrated its tenth anniversary, the U.S. Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) chose to recognize the program. "Kids Court is among the best practice programs." The goal of the OVC project is to highlight innovative programs and partnerships that have developed partnerships that have developed specialized child victim units, multidisciplinary approaches and community outreach methods that better address the needs of children.
