Health Hazard Evaluations
An HHE is a study of a workplace. It is done to learn whether workers are exposed to hazardous materials or harmful conditions

Hazard Controls and Hazard IDs
HCs are a brief 1-2 page, user-friendly document that describe control techniques that have been documented to substantially reduce hazardous exposures to workers in a particular application/industry process. HIDs are a brief 1-2 page, user-friendly document that summarize results of NIOSH studies at a specific worksite, that identify new or current health and safety hazards, and offer the best recommendations for control or prevention.

NIOSH Alerts
Alerts briefly present new information about occupational illnesses, injuries, and deaths. Alerts urgently request assistance in preventing, solving, and controlling newly identified occupational hazards.

OHSA Compliance Assistance
OSHA maintains a large section of resources designed to help prevent occupational injuries and illnesses. Although the site is structured toward complinace with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, it contains useful information applicable to many different kinds of workplaces.
