GOVERNOR SHARES TOP LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES WITH ROTARY CLUB OF HONOLULU
April 17 - "We need to move away
from land development as the foundation of our economy and embrace the
concept of innovation," Governor Lingle said during her keynote remarks at
the Rotary Club of Honolulu luncheon. The Governor updated members on
her top legislative priorities, including the Hawai`i Innovation
Initiative. The initiative takes the ideas and insights of the people
of Hawai`i and transforms them into products and services that will create
new and higher-paying jobs while raising the standard of living for the
people of Hawai`i.
