Performance Track Results: Greenhouse Gases

From 2000-2006, Performance Track members that set goals for this indicator decreased their emissions of greenhouse gases by a cumulative total of 309,780 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (MTCO2E). See the data table for details.
If the members had instead continued with business as usual, they would have increased their emissions by 613,284 MMTCO2E over the three years.
The results reported here for greenhouse gas emissions are associated with members' air emissions goals. In addition, goals to reduce non-transportation energy use resulted in a cumulative reduction of 161,439 MTCO2E.
