Over the past few years, EPA has organized several Web conferences to discuss key topics of interest to IAQ champions. Below (listed in descending date order) you can find information about past Web conferences, including the presentations used, supplemental materials distributed, and summaries of each event. June How to Write Your Winning IAQ TfS Award Application

This Webinar, held on June 26, 2008, highlights the open competition for the 2008 National Excellence and Model of Sustained Excellence Awards. Participants learned about the IAQ TfS Awards Program and the four tiers of recognition, how to translate successful IAQ management programs into award winning models, and listened to first-hand accounts from past award winners on the process and components of developing their award-winning applications.  Attendees heard from Frank Sever, the IAQ Coordinator with Mayfield City School District, Ohio, and Jeff Moquin, Director of the Risk Management Department with the School Board of Broward County, Florida.  Below you will find the PowerPoint presentation, a transcript of the event including the question and answer segment, and a brief application checklist document to assist those districts seeking the Excellence and Model of Sustained Excellence awards.

April Leading Edge IAQ TfS Assessment Strategies

This is one in a series of technical web conference calls whose purpose is to assist schools with the most important part of their schools IAQ management plan -- the school walkthrough. Learn the secrets to performing easy school walkthroughs from national school assessment experts - and featured IAQ TfS Symposium speakers, Rich Prill (Washington State University) and Dave Blake (NW Clean Air Agency) and two recent award-winning school IAQ management programs, Blue Valley Schools (Overland Park, Kansas) and The School Board of Broward County (Broward, Florida).

January Building Momentum: Turning Enthusiasm into Effective IAQ Action

This is a follow-up with past IAQ Tools for Schools National Symposium attendees. The purpose of the call is to turn the energy and enthusiasm fostered at the Symposium into action back in the school districts of past attendees. Three recent award-winning school IAQ management programs, Amity Regional School District No. 5 (Woodbridge, Connecticut), Omaha Public Schools (Nebraska), and Visalia Unified School District (California) were featured on the call.
