Guilty Verdicts for Nevada to Hawaii Meth Ring SEP 5 - (LOS ANGELES) Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent in Charge Timothy J. Landrum announced today that a federal jury returned guilty verdicts on September 2, 2008, against Benjamin Acuna, Anabel Valenzuela and Eddy Olguin, all of Las Vegas, Nevada, for conspiracy to distribute and possess, with intent to distribute, 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. Acuna and Valenzuela were also found guilty of conspiracy to commit money laundering. Acuna and Valenzuela are alleged to be the leaders of a large drug trafficking organization which shipped thousands of pounds of methamphetamine from Las Vegas, Nevada to Hawaii from approximately 2002 to 2005. >> Full Story
