Program Development and Studies throughout Arizona

The Program Development Division of the Phoenix Area Office is responsible for water resource planning activities within its geographical area of responsibility throughout Arizona . The federal objective in water resource planning is to achieve a structured approach to water resource problem-solving and provide a rational framework for sound decision-making.

The Program Development Division works with communities, organizations, and states to assist them in the planning process; conducts general investigations, appraisal and feasibility studies; can provide technical assistance to states; and investigates opportunities for reuse of wastewater.
