The Oregon State Marine Board and the Oregon Department of Agriculture have released the first set of relief checks today August 20th, and anticipate that all checks will be received by fishers over the next several weeks.

Senate Bill 235 (2007) created the Dairy Air Quality Task Force to study the air emissions from Oregon dairy operations and evaluate options for reducing those emissions taking into account a number of potentially competing factors.

Deadline for 2009 Sesquicentennial Awards fast approaching
The CF&R Program is looking for farms and ranches that will turn 150 years old or more this year for the new Sesquicentennial award. If you think that your family operation might qualify, don't forget to submit your application by November 1, 2008.
