Notification of Office Closures
Employees should rely on the media outlets listed in below for information about unplanned curtailment of agency operations or closure. DAS shall also post such curtailments or closures on it’s home page: http://www.oregon.gov/DAS/HR/index.shtml.
 
If a curtailment or closure decision is made before the start of the work day, the official designated in Section (1)(b)(A)(i) of DAS Policy #60.015.01 shall notify the media outlets listed below by 5:00 a.m.

Inclement Weather Office Closure Process Notification to ODOT Employees
ODOT, in conjunction with the Department of Administrative Services (DAS), may close offices due to hazardous or inclement weather conditions.  The attached document outlines the process for notifying employees.  In addition, supervisors will inform all employees about the notification process for their particular work unit and post the attached communication document.

POLICY STATEMENT:
State agencies shall assure services provided to the citizens of Oregon are curtailed by closing operations only under extreme conditions which preclude or interfere with normal agency operations.
