Arizona Go Local is a statewide project of the Arizona Health Sciences Library at the University of Arizona. As a program of the National Library of Medicine’s MEDLINEPlus, Arizona Go Local is a database that connects you to health services and resources throughout our state. Here you will find contact information, web sites and descriptions for services that include hospitals and clinics, elder care, wellness, support group, group and individual caregivers, and a wide-range of other health topics.

Selection Guidelines: The Arizona Go Local project team aims to provide information on services in Arizona’s 15 counties for inclusion into the database. In order to provide you with reliable and accurate information, the following guidelines are used to ensure its quality. These include:

 
Local Relevance: Includes information about organizations and services that are relevant to Arizona.  
Authority/Source: Sponsorship of the site is clear and professional credentials are provided. Contact information is provided.
Content: Site is current and reliable with links that are relevant to the service and local community. Of the 15 Arizona counties, 3 are included as part of the Tribal Connections/Four Corners GoLocal. With a state population of nearly 6 million, the city of Phoenix being the fifth largest city nationwide, and 21 federally recognized tribes, many in rural locations, Arizona GoLocal aims to provide a comprehensive, yet searchable database of health care services for all residents. This web resource relies on you, our users and partners, to maintain its value.
