The U.S. food science and technology infrastructure meets increasing demand for safe, nutritious, healthful, palatable, convenient, and globally competitive food products. In partnership with academe, industry, consumers, and other federal agencies, CSREES provides national leadership in food science and technology by collaborating with more than 50 academic food science departments at the land-grant and non-land-grant universities and by supporting related projects through three funding opportunities.
