ARC/CDC Partnership to Reduce Diabetes
An overview of this jointly funded program that focuses on improving the quality of life for people with diabetes in the Region's most economically depressed counties. Seven of the Region's thirteen states—Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia—and eighteen distressed counties are participating. An additional 10 counties will receive funding in 2003.
