The North American Forest Commission, under the auspices of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, provides a policy and technical forum for Canada, Mexico, and the United States to discuss North American forestry issues. The three countries work in collaboration with each other and with other government, non-governmental organizations, universities, and private industry.
