The Fuels, Engines and Emissions Research Center (FEERC) is a U.S. Department of Energy User Facility at Oak Ridge National Laboratory that specializes in the detailed characterization of energy conversion technologies. Our comprehensive capabilities include:

  • engine and vehicle dynamometers
  • bench-top engine exhaust simulators
  • unique diagnostic and measurement tools
  • fuel cell characterization systems

There are many ways to work with FEERC including a cooperative research and development agreement, a work for others agreement, or a user agreement. Each agreement is developed based on a user’s desire to protect research results or inventions.
