Injuries
- Statistics and Summaries 2006-2010
MMS requires that
all Injuries be reported. Effective July 17, 2006, MMS revised the
regulations for incident
reporting for Injuries. The number of Injuries
for 2006 may be affected by this change when compared to other
years.
The requirement for reporting Injuries is as follows:
-
MMS must be
notified of injuries requiring evacuation and follow the
notification with a written report.
-
MMS must receive
a written report for any injury that results in one or more days
away from work or one
or more days on restricted work or job
transfer. One or more days means the injured person was not
able to
return to work or to all of their normal duties the day after the
injury occurred.
