Remarks: In an effort to free stuck pipe, mineral oil mud was to be circulated down hole. However, the incorrectly repositioned the standpipe by leaving the valve closed, and 144 bbls of mineral oil mud (100 bbl of mineral oil) were circulated into the sea. Response: realigned valves to circulate down drill pipe.
