Remarks: The line was parted when a contractor boat anchor struck the submerged oil pipeline. As much as 30% of the oil in the line may have spilled (per Coast Guard). Response: replaced 58' section of pipe. A weld neck and a swivel flange and another 15' section was also replaced.
