Remarks: A Daspit clamp on a departing submerged 8-5/8" (6"?) oil pipeline parted. Response: pipeline was shut in; line was repaired by installing a new Daspit Perma-Kupl clamp along with 20' of new pipe. May 11, 1978 - Continental Oil Company
Remarks: A carryunder of the sump pile resulted when a lease automatic custody transfer (LACT) unit shut down created high levels. The 400 bbl gunbarrel tank carried over. The shut-in relay was pinned out of service. Response: the platform was manually shut in. July 17, 1978 - Amoco Production Company
Remarks: The submerged 8-5/8" oil pipeline leaving the platform developed a half inch wide circumferential break 600' from the platform. The break was caused by anchor drag which kinked the pipeline.
