Brown bus safety bill to get Senate hearing

Complete with a rather large prop, Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, and other advocates of legislation mandating motorcoach safety measures will hold a news conference tomorrow prior to a Senate hearing on the bill.
The hearing on the bipartisan bill - Brown’s Senate co-author is Republican Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas - is the first since the National Transportation Safety Board met in July to approve a report on the causes of the March 2, 2007 crash of a bus carrying 33 Bluffton University baseball players, killing five.
