Federal Employment of People With Disabilities. Contains comprehensive information about people with disabilities for applicants, employees, HR professionals, and managers. Among the key topics covered are recruiting and hiring, resources, laws and Executive orders, and reasonable accommodation.
Statutory Exemptions. Provides a list of agencies that are exempted statutorily from competitive civil service procedures. These agencies have their own hiring criteria and procedures.

OPM Director Addresses the Need for Federal Career Outreach Efforts To Attract Those With Disabilities (October 16, 2002). In this news release, while launching the DisabilityInfo.gov Web site, both the Director of OPM and the President made it clear that OPM must be a model employer for individuals with disabilities. Individuals with disabilities provide a viable source of employees for the Federal Government.
