Oregon Plan Reporting

Oregon Watershed Restoration Inventory
The Oregon Watershed Restoration Inventory (OWRI) inventories restoration data for the state of Oregon, including how your restoration project is being monitored.  The information provided to the Oregon Watershed Restoration Inventory has been used to report on Oregon Plan progress, support effectiveness monitoring of restoration activities, and support watershed assessments and future restoration project planning and prioritization. Previously reported restoration project information will be summarized in both the Oregon Plan for Salmon and Watersheds 2003-2005 Biennial Report, and the Oregon Plan for Salmon and Watersheds Coastal Coho Assessment, which will be available in early 2005.

Volunteer Water Quality Monitoring Program
The goal of the Volunteer Monitoring Program, housed at the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, is to involve Oregonians in identifying and solving the state’s water quality problems.  The program provides support including technical assistance in monitoring design, equipment use, data management and analysis.  Volunteer groups participating in the program are eligible to receive high quality monitoring equipment on loan.  For additional information please contact Steve Hanson Volunteer Monitoring Specialist at (503) 229-5449.
