EPA New England is working to prevent pollution and conserve natural resources in our own operations. We’re looking at the choices we make – how we light our buildings, the cars we drive, the waste we generate – and we’re changing how we get things done. We’re doing what we ask of others and using this Web site to tell our story and share what we’ve learned.

Our Environmental Management System (EMS) helps us reduce the environmental impacts of our operations. It shows us the big picture and guides us as we build environmental considerations into our day-to-day decisions and long-term strategies. Our regional Green Team is leading the way as we implement the goals of our EMS.
