Abstract Review Process

Review and Notification Process
  1. Your submission will undergo a blind, three-person peer review after the due date.
     
  2. Following are the review criteria:
Scientific Merit
  • Background, and purpose for study
  • Relevance of the study question
  • Appropriateness of the methods (limitations and strengths of your study will be considered)
  • Relevance of conclusion

Programmatic/Policy Significance

  • Implications for MCH policies, programs and practice
  • Originality or innovativeness of work and why
  • Public health implications
  1. You will be notified by email of your abstract's status of acceptance by October 1, 2008.
     
  2. All authors who will present at the conference MUST register for the conference.
