Doing Business in Hawaii Just Got Easier

The Hawaii Unemployment Insurance Division offers a new and improved way for employers to file their “Quarterly Wage, Contribution and Employment and Training Assessment Report” (Form UC-B6).  Employers may now send their reports and pay their contributions over the Internet through the state’s official website, Hawaii Unemployment Insurance (HUI) Express at https://hui.ehawaii.gov.

Register online to use HUI Express and download our free QWRS software program to create an electronic file, which you can send online.

In order to register, you will need your Department of Labor (DOL) number, Federal Employer Identification number (FEIN) and your own personal e-mail address.  Just click on the button below to view a handout with complete step-by-step instructions on the online register process.

If you do not use the QWRS software program, you may create your own file using the new “Record Layout for Programmers.”

Benefits of the QWRS software program

  • Replaces the QWR DOS diskette wage data program;
  • Improved import capabilities from an Excel spreadsheet;
  • No printing and mailing of lengthy reports;
  • It’s an easy way to compute your business’ UI Contributions and E&T Assessment.

If you can read this text, it means you are not experiencing the Plone design at its best. Plone makes heavy use of CSS, which means it is accessible to any internet browser, but the design needs a standards-compliant browser to look like we intended it. Just so you know ;)
