General Information About This Service

The IHS National Diabetes Program has a 20 year history of providing diabetes care and education services to the American Indian and Alaska Native communities. The staff of the Model Diabetes Programs and the Area Diabetes Consultants:
  • Have been instrumental in identifying educational needs
  • Had a key role in developing diabetes education resources
  • Participated in field testing diabetes education material

IHS National Diabetes Program Publications Ordering Infromation

  • This program does not take orders over the phone.
  • Orders are mailed out by Media Mail. It takes approximately 2 - 3 weeks for delivery from the clearinghouse.
  • If you would like MORE than Maximum amount please provide justification in the "Comments" section and your request will be considered pending current inventory.
