AC-EBRD Intern Program

The U.S. Advocacy Center-EBRD has an active internship program throughout the year, and we welcome applications from suitable candidates. Our intern program provides college or university juniors, seniors, and graduate students of economics, business administration and related fields with "hands-on" experience working in a commercial setting in London’s financial district.

Intern Duties

To the extent possible, the intern's work assignments will provide exposure to a broad range of activities and services. Every attempt will be made to give hands-on experience where appropriate and where permitted. Intern work assignments include:

  • Conducting research and reporting on commercial opportunities for U.S. firms in funding or project procurement and consultancies from the EBRD.
  • Learning about the EBRD and its countries of operation in order to assist in counseling U.S. firms on financing available for international procurement and investment.
  • Exposure to the EBRD and to U.S. firms trading and investing in East and Central Europe and NIS.
  • Assisting CS-EBRD in implementation of its Work Plan, including its reporting plan and outreach activities.

Requirements

In order to qualify for an internship with the U.S. Advocacy Center Liaision Office to the EBRD, potential candidates should preferably have a background in International Business, Business Administration or Marketing. Candidates must also must comply with the following requirements:

  • Be available for at least three months
  • Be able to work at least two days a week
  • Be currently enrolled in school and returning to their studies immediately after the internship
  • Hold U.S. citizenship

Our Internships are unpaid.
