Plug-ins
You'll need special software plug-ins for some of the activities we link to. Remember to ask an adult before you install any plug-ins.

• Adobe Reader
  This plug-in lets you view and print PDF (Acrobat) documents such as posters or coloring books. If you don't already have Adobe Reader installed on your computer, you can get it free from Adobe.
• Flash
  This plug-in lets you play animation and animated games on the Internet. If you don't already have Flash installed on your computer, you can get it for free from Macromedia.
• QuickTime
  This plug-in is a media player that lets you play music and video. If you don't already have QuickTime installed on your computer, you can get it for free from Apple.
• Shockwave
  This plug-in lets you use some interactive games & activities that have sound, images, and animation. If you don't already have Shockwave installed on your computer, you can get it for free from Macromedia.
