Southwest Forest Products is an innovative lumber and transportation company that handles: Spruce, Pine and Fir Industrial Timber Products. They recently participated in a bimonthly Border Development Program organized by CS Tijuana which provides U.S. companies a day of seminars, useful "how to export to Mexico" information as well as three to four meetings with potential partners, distributors, end users and representative.

The Border Development Program proved to be an effective tool for Southwest Forest Products to enter the Mexican market; as result of their meetings, they recently confirmed initial sales to three different Mexican companies, prompting Ms. Jessica Van der Toorn to say: "Southwest Forest Products, Inc. has been extremely pleased with your border program service. You have helped us obtain information on new customers we would like to export our timbers to that we would not have found on our own.
