ARM Instruments
The ARM Program was funded through the U.S. Department of Energy to develop several highly instrumented ground stations for studying cloud formation processes and their influence on radiative transfer and for measuring other parameters that determine the radiative properties of the atmosphere. As a result, the ARM Climate Research Facility now provides a comprehensive set of world-class, and in some cases, unique, instruments available for use by the global scientific community. For a quick summary of ARM instruments at each field site, view the Instrument Location Table.
