E-mail messages sent to support@nccs.nasa.gov are reviewed during our operating hours (8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time (U.S.) Monday through Friday, except U.S. Federal Holidays). In most cases, you will receive a reply within one business hour that will either answer your question or inform you that the problem has been redirected to the appropriate source.

You can help expedite this process by including as much detail as possible about the problem you are having in your e-mail, including such things as

• Name of the NCCS computing system with which you are having a problem.
• A pointer to job scripts (if applicable).
• Job ID.
• Job output showing error.
• Time the problem occurred.
• Ticket number if the problem has previously been logged with the NCCS User Services Group.

The NCCS User Services Group will also respond directly to telephone queries during our operating hours (8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time (U.S.), Monday through Friday, except U.S. Federal Holidays). If you leave a message, in most cases you will receive a reply via phone or e-mail within one business hour that will either answer your question, inform you that the problem has been redirected to the appropriate source, or request additional information. Always indicate your userid—spelling it out, if necessary—in any voice mail message and provide as much detail as possible about the problem you are having (see bullets in previous section).
