• Upcoming Downtimes
  • September 17, 2008 6:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Discover system maintenance.
  • September 17, 2008 8:00 a.m.-12:00 noon Data Portal maintenance. (The /portal/gmao_ops and /portal/osse will be unavailable during this downtime.)
  • September 17, 2008 9:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Network maintenance (All of the network traffic for the HPC systems including new logins will be affected.)
  • TBD Power outage and Discover downtime in preparation for SCU4 integration (This downtime may need to be split into two separate downtimes.)
  • TBD Network maintenance that should be transparent to users or only affect login nodes on discover.
  
  


• General communication
  • Migration off of Palm/Explore by the September 30, 2008 deadline. Users should be coordinating with their PIs. PIs should be coordinating with their NCCS Coordinator.
  • The next NCCS User Forum will be held Thursday, September 25, 2008 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Building 33, Room H114.
  • Any upcoming workload you would like the NCCS to be aware of?
