The FDA is starting a chapter-by-chapter update of its guidance called "Information Sheet Guidances for IRBs, Clinical Investigators, and Sponsors," better known as the FDA Information Sheets, and last published in 1998.  It is an excellent resource on FDA regulations and actions.  The website includes all of the available Information Sheets, including  both the 1998 and any new 2006 ones that have replaced them.
