Special Interest Groups
The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education manages several Special Interest Groups for the U.S. Department of Energy. These unique networks of DOE and DOE contractor personnel encourage and facilitate the exchange of ideas, techniques, and resources to improve cost efficiency within the agency.
These groups serve as a forum for open communication, discussion, and resolution of issues of concern to the DOE community. These issues are often technical in nature, with training being one of many factors considered.
