How to Sell Products to USDA
FNS's
Food Distribution Division works closely with the following two USDA agencies
that are
responsible for purchasing commodities for the FNS Food
Distribution Programs:

The
Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), which is
responsible for purchasing Group A-Type products that include beef,
fruits & vegetable, pork, fish, poultry & egg products; and
-
The
Farm Service Agency's (FSA) Commodity Operations
Office, which
purchases dairy products and other domestic processed products such as bakery mix,
crackers, cornmeal, flour,
fortified cereal, macaroni & cheese, pasta products, peanut products, rice,
shortening, & vegetable oils, etc.

food purchase selling kits listed below are
for vendors and processors that want to sell products to USDA.
They describe products to be purchased by USDA, how to bid,
specifications, contract requirements, and certification
