Pan-American Chapter of International Committee for Military Medicine meets in San Antonio

Ms. Ellen Embrey, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Force Health Protection and Readiness, recently assumed the presidency of the Pan-American Committee for Military Medicine on behalf of the United States.

The Pan-American Committee for Military Medicine is a regional component of the International Committee for Military Medicine (ICMM). The international committee facilitates military medicine collaboration and advances common goals.

We will host the Pan-American Committee for Military Medicine Congress in San Antonio, Texas, in November 2008.

This scientific international meeting will run as a parallel tract to the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States (AMSUS) meeting, which will also be in San Antonio next year.
