Center for Human Reliability Studies
Through our U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Center of Excellence, ORISE provides expertise in the field of human reliability. Our subject matter experts assist DOE's Office of Security in implementing its human reliability program, which strives to ensure the reliability of those who work with our nation's most sensitive materials and information.
National Security
With a seasoned staff of former FBI Special Agents, Navy SEALs, Army Special Forces, and other former military personnel, ORISE offers subject matter expertise in counter terrorism preparedness, special operations, law enforcement, customs and immigration, homeland security, and information technology.
Emergency Preparedness
ORISE provides technical experts through its assistance to the DOE Office of Emergency Management and Policy in such areas as emergency exercises and drills, consequence and hazards assessment, protective actions, and emergency public information.
