In order to complete the testing process, you will need to submit an application and return the Confirmation of Attendance letter. Please print and sign the Physical Fitness Test Standards and Release Form and bring the completed document with you to the testing facility.
The first day of Entry Level Testing is comprised of two portions -- a physical fitness test and a general knowledge written exam. The physical fitness tests takes place on day one. The written portions of the test take place on the following day.
The second day of testing consist of a battery of four tests that includes general knowledge, psychological and cognitive ability. These tests rank suitability for law enforcement.

Physical Fitness Test |

- The physical abilities test is based on the U.S. Army standards (see scoring standards listed below) in accordance with Oregon Revised Statute 181.260.
- If an applicant fails any portion of this test, the testing will be discontinued. Applicants who fail to pass the physical abilities test will be allowed to re-test on the next testing date.

Written Test |
|
The written test is a multi-part test, consisting of timed and un-timed portions. The written test will be administered to applicants who pass the Physical Abilities Test.
