- 02/07/09 - Canby High School - Canby Oregon
- 04/04/09 - Canby High School - Canby Oregon

It is generally best to begin the process within one year prior to separation. |

Applicant received notification of the written and physical abilities test that is scheduled in Salem. The applicant lives out-of-state. May the tests be administered locally? |

No. However, we travel to Pendleton and Medford for testing to allow easier access for out of state applicants. |

The Applicants will be given an opportunity to list their top five (5) choices or indicate they are willing to work anywhere. The Department attempts to match applicant preferences with the existing vacancies. With the amount of openings currently available, most offices have openings. |

Applicants are given station assignments when selected as a Recruit. This notification occurs approximately 30 days in advance of starting recruit school. |
