Bering Sea's marginal bodies of water
The Bering Sea includes several marginal bodies of water including the Gulf of Anadyr, Norton Sound, and Bristol Bay. The Bering and Chukchi Seas are connected via the Bering Strait which is only 85 km wide at its narrowest breadth. The major passes through the North Pacific and the Bering Sea include Unimak, Tanaga, Amukta, and Amchitka passes, and Blizhny Strait.
