Direct Services
Energy Studies
  • At no cost to you, our energy engineers will visit your facilities to recommend cost-effective energy efficiency projects.
 
Energy Systems Assistance
  • Direct Digital Controls  
    We offer technical assistance to identify direct digital control (DDC) deficiencies and determine the best repair methods. We also develop construction bid specifications for DDC systems in public buildings.
  • Lighting System Improvements
    We offer audits to improve lighting quality and energy efficiency.
  • HVAC and Boiler Systems  
    We offer technical assistance, troubleshooting and on-site training to improve the operation of compressed air control systems and boiler systems.
  •   Resource Conservation Management
    We will train any of your employees to identify opportunities for reducing energy, water and solid waste use, a vital step for on-going energy savings.
 
New Building Design Review
  • We assist in the review of new building construction designs to ensure appropriate energy efficiency technologies are included in project blueprints.
 
Indoor Air Quality Study
  • We will perform an indoor air quality study limited to ventilation effectiveness. The study will indicate if adequate fresh air is reaching rooms.
 
Energy Loan Program
The Oregon Energy Loan Program offers long-term, low-interest loans for energy-saving projects. Loan payments for most applicants are covered by their energy savings.
 
  • Energy Evaluations
    Limited funds are available for energy evaluations for public buildings, including school facilities. For additional information, contact Kathy Estes at (503) 378-4040 in Salem or 1-800-221-8035 statewide.
 
Selecting a Private Contractor
 
  • Request for Proposal (RFP) Review
    We will provide guidelines, model RFPs and assistance in selecting contractors for energy efficiency services, including resource conservation management, performance contracting, commissioning, procurement and design/engineering services.
