Oregon law requires all workers removing or stabilizing paint on housing or child care settings built before 1978 to obtain a permit from the Lead-Based Paint Program. Oregon law also requires that individuals be employees of a licensed cleanup contractor in order to perform evaluations or cleanup work at drug lab sites (with some exceptions).
